I completed the Day Skippers course recently and have to say, from start to finish I found the whole experience was inspiring and knowledge enhancing. My instructor Dave made the course more than a rigid learning opportunity, his exuberance and knowledge made the week very entertaining as we learned. In my case, the weaker elements of my knowledge were brought up to speed easily due to Dave’s open and friendly teaching style. Dave is by far the most proficient and efficient instructor I have dealt with over all the courses I have attended. I look forward to working with him in the future as I feel there is so much more I can learn from him.
I would have no hesitation recommending Dave to anyone, either a beginner learning from scratch or an advanced sailor needing to expand their knowledge. Overall, his maritime knowledge is exceptional and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
